Michael McLeod is a Senior Wealth Advisor and the Director of Financial Planning at The Fiduciary Group, serving as investment advisor, financial planner, and client relationship manager. Michael provides expertise and guidance to families and directs the firm’s financial planning practice.
Prior to joining the firm in 2019, Michael served as Client Advisor and Vice President with SunTrust Private Wealth Management for more than 13 years.
Michael earned his B.A. from Washington & Lee University, completed the Executive Program for Financial Planning at the University of Georgia’s Terry School of Business, and the Cannon Financial Institute’s Trust School (I, II & III). He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional and also holds the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) designation.
A Savannah native, Michael is active in the community, currently serving as Treasurer and Trustee for the Historic Savannah Foundation, as Vice President for the Savannah Estate Planning Council, as Grants Chair for the Metropolitan Savannah Rotary Club, and as the Chief Steward for the St. Andrew’s Society of Savannah.

TFG primarily provides wealth management services to high-net-worth individuals and families, and investment management services for trusts, estates, pension, 401(k) and profit-sharing plans, nonprofit organizations, and other legal entities. Where requested, the principals of TFG accept appointments in their individual capacity as trustee, executor, and/or power of attorney
We offer a wide range of wealth management services to our clients who own separately managed accounts. We work with each client to establish an appropriate investment policy statement (IPS) based on the client’s objectives, unique circumstances, time horizon, and risk tolerance. We generally invest client assets in domestic and international stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and exchange traded funds (“ETFs”).
